Required Documents to apply a New Passport for all Countries

• Dully filled application Form
• 4 colour photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm)
• Original Birth Certificate
• National Identity Card
• Marriage Certificate (If changing the maiden name)
• Academic / Professional Certificate or letter of appointment (If the job description is required)
• Previous Travel Document (If available)
• Citizenship Certificate if the applicant is a citizen by registration
• Fee : K.won 175,000 (if the old passport is available - for M & N series only)
• Fee : KWon 400,000 (if the old passport is available - for J, K & L series)
• If the present passport is reported lost, fee is 400,000 K.Won ( if a photocopy of the data page is submitted - for M & N series)
• If the present passport is reported lost, fee is 510,000 KWon (if a photocopy of the data page is not submitted - for M & N series)

One year Extension Fee : 4000 K.Won

For Temporary Travel Document (NMRP)

- If the old passport is available - Kwon 60,000

- If the old passport is not available - Kwon 175,000

For amendments to the Passport (including insertion of names of children) - Kwon 12,000 (for one amendment)

Separate Travel Documents for children below 16 years

A minor under 16 years of age also apply for a separate travel document

Required Documents

• Application form
• 4 colour photographs (3.5 x 4.5 cm)
• Written consent from parents for being issued a separate passport for the child
• Original Birth Certificate
• Original Travel Documents of parents, if they don't? possess travel document an affidavit confirming same
• Original Marriage Certificate of parents
• If the child is born abroad original citizenship certificate
• Note (4-7 above originals with 2 sets of photocopies)
• Self addressed two envelops
• Fee K.Won 175,000
